When someone shows you who they are, believe them the first time.” -Maya Angelou

Below is a library of various white papers and screenshots from the horse’s mouth. Companies operating in OSINT, SOCINT, data forensics, and video analytics are not terribly subtle about advertising what they do. I think their own propaganda is the best evidence against why we should be aggressively working to shutter their enterprises entirely.

I think the difficult gap to bridge is that of “stated purpose versus actual purpose.” The biggest issue here is that too many of you, despite performative outrage during the summer of George Floyd, still fully trust law enforcement. I am arguing that they are in many ways worse today than they were then, as not only have these digital weapons gotten more advanced and widely adopted, but that summer gave many end users a strong retribution motive to abuse their power and go after activists, dissidents, critics, etc. That retribution campaign is fully alive and well today, but many of you are not aware that it’s transpiring because you yourself are not their target. Yesterday’s truth tellers and activists are today’s “persons of interest,” “suspected kidnappers,” “terrorists,” “transnational criminals,” “known threats,” etc, within these ambiguous systems which enjoy the same lack of oversight and crackdown as the US firearms industry because, well obviously, so many of their proponents are cops, feds, vets, DAs, PIs, etc.

It’s critical that we simply read what they’re advertising and clearly laying out as their capabilities via the below, and then presume what I know to be true, that very few use cases here involve legitimate warranted criminal investigations, and this Anything Goes paradigm is resulting in a lot of injustice and suffering for a lot of people even if it’s not so obvious and overt as, say, the George Floyd or Ahmaud Arbery videos of the 2010’s.

Shout-Out to PDX My Home Airport, I Rarely if Ever Experience This There. Too bad the rest of the city flagrantly flouts anti-surveillance tech laws.

By the way, this isn’t about OOSTO alone, they just do the best job of presenting the evils of this industry in easy-to-understand PDFs. They are barely the tip of the iceberg, ALL players in this industry do the exact same thing and use basically the same Fascist algorithms. Like I said, I’m always a “known person of interest” and this is the outcome. Is this the world we want? It’s also super important to note that the above linked video was 2 years ago (and counting), and it’s still my experience, so there’s nothing ever being done to “exonerate” people within these systems, once you’re in you’re apparently in for life and the only place you’re “allowed” to be is inside your house when you add up the sum of all the places that deploy these solutions and call me a “threat” to security guards with pent up rage, or losers like David who have built their identity around “protecting women and kids” in place of being a person of substance.

Executive Protection: Where Powerful Exectives are Defenseless Victims and Defense Victims are “Threats”

This one is important to keep an eye on in 2025 post-Luigi Macaroni trial. There has already been a fraudulent yet fervent effort to build this industry by amplifying the extent to which the rich and powerful have suddenly become the vulnerable targets of their constituents, with the help of liars and white collar criminals like Rene Gonzalez to cite just one local example in my town. Surely there are others where you live. The surveillance industrial complex depends heavily on a steady stream of fear-inducing propaganda, and every 6-12 months a new Fake Trend seems to emerge. 2024 felt very much like the great Missing Child and Sexploitation propaganda blitz, whereas 2025 feels primed to make a solid run at getting us to actually believe corporate executives are helpless lambs in the field and there are “radicalized” nobodys / anybodys lurking out there who must be stalked, spied on, and in general digitally raped in the name of their protection.

“I'm not saying I'm gonna rule the world or I'm gonna change the world, but I guarantee you that I will spark the brain that will change the world. And that's our job, It's to spark somebody else watching us. We might not be the ones, but let's not be selfish and because we not gonna change the world let's not talk about how we should change it. I don't know how to change it, but I know if I keep talking about how dirty it is out here, somebody's gonna clean it up.”
